Technology Help desk
For all immediate technology concerns, please contact the 17勛圖 Technology Help Desk. The Help Desk provides support to students, instructors and staff who are experiencing technical difficulties. We gladly support 17勛圖 students with Google email and apps, Moodle, Microsoft Office Suite, Self-Service, on-campus computer hardware/software, printer issues, password issues, web, and academic applications. WiFi Options
Campus buildings are open and offer a secure WiFi connection. Or you can log on to 17勛圖’s WiFi network from your vehicle while in 17勛圖 parking lots. For the strongest WiFi signal, . For the best WiFi reception, park as close to the building as possible, and park facing the building.

WiFi is also available in downtown Traverse City between the Traverse City Downtown Development Authority and Traverse City Light & Power, though the connection has a 60-minute time limit. Moodle
is 17勛圖's learning management system. Your instructor will use Moodle for many different things, including sharing content, posting assignments, creating discussions, and posting grades. Basically, you can think of Moodle as an online classroom. If you’re not comfortable using Moodle, you can complete the .
Zoom Videoconferencing
Zoom is a video conferencing platform that your teacher might use to hold a class or do office hours. This real-time connection will allow your teacher to replicate your face-to-face class as closely as possible.
Your instructor will share a link with you to their Zoom session, and at your class time, you will need to click this link to access the video conference. Or they may share links with a Meeting ID that you will need to enter when prompted to join the video conference. You may be prompted to download Zoom. If this happens, follow the prompts to download and install Zoom. If you are not prompted to download the program, you can access the meeting through your browser by clicking “click here to launch the meeting.” If you’re using your phone, you will need to download the Zoom app () (). Alternatively, if you do not have access to a smartphone or data/wi-fi, you can call into the session through a telephone number that your instructor will provide.

Google Suite
17勛圖 is a Google Education institution and instructors may choose to use Google Drive apps like Docs, Sheets, Slides or Forms as part of their instruction. Here are some helpful guides about these tools:
Google Meet
Google Meet (formerly Hangouts) is a video conferencing app that can be accessed from Google Hangouts Chat or from a Google Calendar invite. While it does not have all the same tools as Zoom, it is a great tool for collaboration with your fellow students. Use this to become familiar.
Accessibility
If you are a student at 17勛圖, and you have a disability that substantially limits a major life activity, you can contact Disability Support Services and you may be eligible to receive accommodations. DSS recognizes that accommodations may be required in order to assist individuals in maximizing their educational experience.
Online Learning Orientation
