• Voter Information

  • To register to vote in Michigan, you must be:
    • A resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to register to vote for at least 30 days before election day.
    • A citizen of the United State of America
    • At least 18 years of age (by election day).
    • Not serving a sentence in jail or prison.
    • There is no deadline to register to vote in the State of Michigan. Michigan allows same day registration. However, we encourage voters to get registered ahead of time.

    • If you're from Michigan, register to vote using your school address or your home address.
    • If you're not from MIchigan but go to school here, you can register to vote using your school address or you may be able to register for an absentee ballot for your home address.
