This event is primarily for current 17吃瓜 students who plan to transfer to a four-year school to complete a bachelor’s degree. High School students and community members unable to attend College Night are also invited to attend.

Monday, October 7, 2024:

Davenport Fall Transfer Tea

Sip on tea (yes, the literal kind) while we spill details on transferring to Davenport, uncover scholarship opportunities and more!

Applying To College 101

Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center
6–7:30 p.m. Event is open to the public.

Admissions reps from NMU & 17吃瓜 will guide participants through the college application process, focusing on what to expect and time frames to be aware of. This event is applicable for first time college students and transfer students. Leave the event understanding application basics and decisions, transfer agreements, finding scholarships and what to look for in a college. The event will provide food and also include a student panel sharing their experience. Please RSVP if planning to attend at the link above.

Tuesday, October 8, 2024:

Ferris State, Pizza & You!

Come learn about the Ferris State University Traverse City Hub. Find out about programs including Social Work, CIT/ CIS, Business, Accounting, Finance, Surveying, Early Childhood Education and more! Pizza & pop will be provided.

Grand Valley TRANSFER STUDENT WEEK CELEBRATION

Grand Valley will host a fall celebration to connect with local GVSU representatives to explore opportunities both in your area and at our main campus. Complete an application, speak with staff and discuss next steps. Cider and donuts served!

Nearly 40 schools from across the Midwest will be on campus to answer your questions about transferring after 17吃瓜. Open to 17吃瓜 students and any high school students unable to attend College Night.

Over 45 schools from across the Midwest will be on campus to meet with are high school student & parents about their future plans. Visit the link above for a list of schools attending and to RSVP.
