Pre-Nursing Program Checklist for Success

  • Apply for admission to 17³Ô¹Ï at — indicate either the Pre-Associate Degree Nursing program, Pre-LPN-ADN completion option, or Pre-Practical Nursing program.
  • Transfer student from a Michigan college or university? .

  • Create a FSA I.D. for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at .

  • Sign up for New Student Orientation at nmc.edu/orientation. In addition to an information meeting, you will meet with an advisor and register for classes. Returning students do not need to attend orientation again.
  • Review the Health Occupations website at nmc.edu/nursing for specific nursing program criteria.
  • Be sure to check your 17³Ô¹Ï email regularly for important information regarding admission requirements, financial aid, the nursing program and more.
