About Automotive Technology
Today’s computerized, sophisticated vehicles require skilled, knowledgeable automotive technicians. Gone are the days of wrenches and paper repair manuals, replaced by advanced diagnostic equipment and highly trained technicians. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the need for more than 76,000 new auto mechanics by the year 2026.
Learn the hands-on skills you need to work in the automotive field. Earn one or all four of our specialized systems certificates or complete our Automotive Service Technology Associate degree.
Classes are offered both days and evenings to fit your schedule. All classes are taught by certified instructors who specialize in systems, brakes, transmissions, electrical and more. You’ll use the latest technology and diagnostic equipment to work on real cars for real customers in 17³Ô¹Ï’s 13-bay auto shop. In-house testing for state certification completes the program.
