Vacation Policy

Employees with a collective bargaining agreement will follow their agreement for specific guidelines and consult with their supervisor on questions pertaining to vacation time.

Vacation is to be approved in advance by the supervisor and reported to Payroll using the appropriate form, or on the time sheet for hourly employees.

To support the work/life balance, rest, and renewal, the College encourages all employees to use their accrued vacation time. If an employee consistently accumulates time they are unable to use, the supervisor/executive leader and the employee will review and adjust the workload to allow for vacation time to be taken.

If any provision(s) of this policy or set of bylaws conflicts with laws applicable to 17勛圖, including the Community College Act of 1966, the Freedom of Information Act, or the Open Meetings Act, as each may be amended from time to time, such laws shall control and supersede such provision(s).
